D-500 ® is a high-performance product especially formulated for use in poultry hatcheries and farm animal housing facilities.

Description and Special Features

D-500 ® combines the powerful action of glutaraldehyde with an effective synthetic detergent, and quaternary ammonium chloride. At its recommended use-dilution of 1/2 ounce per gallon of water (1:256), D-500 ® has many important advantages, including:

• Ideal for critical areas.
• Not affected by hard water.
• Functions well over a broad temperature range.
• Does not contain or release formaldehyde.
• Effective performance on a wide variety of construction materials.
• Properly diluted solutions are not detrimental to waste treatment systems.

Product Performance

D-500 ® is suitable for use on a wide variety of surfaces. This includes commonly used materials of construction, such as stainless steel, aluminum, painted and unpainted concrete, plastic, rubber, wood, and paper. Furthermore, D-500 ® is no more damaging to these materials than is water. Even after repeated applications, there was no detectible buildup or tacky residue remaining after the treated surfaces had dried.

D-500 ® combines the safest ingredients to provide an effective super-penetrating cleanser/ sanitation with synergistic activity.

D-500 ® has superior cleansing/sanitation activity in warm or cold, soft or hard water (as much as 1500 ppm CaCo3) and performs especially well in areas containing high levels of organic matter.

D-500 ® has the pleasant smell of terpenols which masks the unpleasant smell of Glutaraldehyde
